Cubase Element licence

Hi,
I owe e Steinberg UR22C sound-card with Cubase Le Ai element,
My PC with Windows 10 crashed a few month ago et I had to reinstall Windows 10

But Steinberg refuses to reinstall Cubase element.

How to reactivate Cubase please ?

Hi, what kind of error message do you see? Also, which Cubase AI version are you on? You can get a free update to AI 15, older versions prior to 12 don’t run anymore if they are not already installed.

Cubase AI 11 to Cubase AI 14 update

Hi! Nice to meet all of you. I would like to ask question how to update Cubase AI 11 to Cubase AI 12. I have got registered Cubase AI 11 (bought it with steinberg ur22 mkii) - it works well. But for Cubase AI 12 I need new activation code. In download assistant list in “my products” I can see only Cubase AI 11. How and when can I receive activation code for Cubase AI 12?

I have Cubase AI10.5

That can not be reactivated anymore, because the eLicenser system has been shutdown in May 2025.

You can ask for the update to Cubase 15 by adding a request to this thread.

Hi,
it might take a couple of hours until the license shows up in your account. Afterwards, just open the Download Manager and install Cubase. No need to deinstall anything beforehand.
