Cubase Elements 11 plug ins issue

Hello all,
I recently bought a new MacBook Pro 10.14.6 Mojave. I installed Cubase Elements 11 (11.0.30)and all appeared to be working fine until I loaded a plug in. I loaded Serato Sample and the sample just stuttered without me touching anything. I loaded Halion Sonic and Prologue and without touching anything the sample just stuttered. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do to get my plug ins to work? All worked fine on my old MacBook 10.12.

Maybe check in with Serato:

I have a support case open with Serato already. What I’ve found is it’s not a Serato issue… none of my plug ins working properly. It definitely appears to be a Cubase issue.

Turns out is was my Rane Seventy mixer that was sending a midi signal. I am getting a new USB C hub that’s powered and that should do the trick.
