How do I get Cubase Elements 13 to work while I am simultaneously using other audio software?

Most of the time, on Windows, only one software can use the ASIO driver of an audio interface, so that might be your problem.
Else, you might need to provide a little more information:
Mac or Windows? Which audio interface do you use? Which other audio software, and how is it configured, ie what driver does it use.
Are there any error messages. ?

Hi and welcome to the forum,

fese is correct.

Double-check the Release ASIO Driver when Application is in Background in the Studio Setup, please.

Or use other but the ASIO driver in the other application.

All of above applies for Windows. On Mac you should not have a problem.
