Cubase Elements 14 trial version wont allow "Track Extensions"

Hi there, has anyone encountered this issue?

I’m trying to use Melodyne as a track extension for vocal recording in the trial version of Cubase elements 14 but the “Extensions” option although selected is shadowed and not usable. It doesn’t matter how many forums I read or how many different ways I try to access “Extensions” they just aren’t available.

I’m not sure if I’ve done something wrong during the install of the software but i downloaded the trials of both software because I wanted to see if they were user friendly enough for a novice like myself.

Hello and welcome,

the extensions are based on the ARA protocol. This feature does not seem to be supported in Cubase Elements. You’d need Cubase Artist or higher in order to be able to use Melodyne as an extension.
