Sorry to bother a day after Christmas!
I got a Novation Launchkey 61 keyboard for Christmas and have started the free trial on Cubase Elements 15, (I am new to Cubase). However when I have plugged in the keyboard to Cubase and no sound has been produced, even though I can control volume levels and fades on the keyboard and it is showing those changes on Cubase.
Is there a way that I can resolve this?

Can you explain what sound you expect to hear? Is some audio in the projects or did you load a vst instrument or something?
I take it you use the built in audio of your computer and don’t have an interface….is the Steinberg built in Audio ASIO driver selected in studio setup?
The sound I expect to hear is the instrument I select on the template, for example a violin in a string quartet template. I have downloaded all sound libraries such as HALion Sonic and Groove Sonic.
When I have selected the audio inputs and outputs, it says the Steinberg built in Audio ASIO driver.
Hopefully that answers your questions.

Can you hear anything if you open the Halion instrument gui and play the keys with the mouse?
make sure that the instrument track with Halion Sonic on it is record enabled (the “R” button under the track name).

I don’t know how and what I did! But, I turned it on this morning and everything works now so I’m happy!
