First, I know Cubase Element 10 has a way of doing it. I’ve seen the video. But, what about us who are still using Cubase Elements 8? I can’t find anyway to remove a VST Instrument, once it is opened in a project. You would think that Project > Remove Unused Tracks would do the trick, but nope. None of the fixes I’ve seen online seem to work for Cubase EL 8. Any ideas out there? Thx - jj
Don’t have Elements, but on Pro you right click on the synth name in the synth rack, and select the Remove instrument or No instrument option, I forget exact wording, but it’s the first option on the list that pops up and is fairly obvious. Hope that helps.
