Hello!
I have the following issue:
I created a master at -8 LUFS.
When I export using Multiple Files to send WET Files to the client, they are exported at approximately -16 LUFS (when re-imported into the project). However, the STEREO OUT track exports correctly at -8 LUFS.
The difference is huge, and I don’t understand why this is happening.
Can someone help clarify this and explain how to fix the issue?
Thank you!
Just asking, no offense: you are aware of the fact that the Stereo Out usually contains all outputs of the single busses and/or tracks if not routed otherwise? Therefore a single track has less loudness (LUFS) than a couple of single tracks or busses combined.
Hey!
Of course. That’s why I mentioned “-16 LUFS (when re-imported into the project),” meaning when I re-import all the exported WET files back into Cubase. All combined, they sound at -16 LUFS. In other words, everything sounds much quieter than it should when played together.
Alright, I misread your initial post.
Can you post a screenshot of your export dialogue? Depending on the Cubase version you are running, what option have you checked in the effect dialogue?
The version is Cubase 14, recently updated from Cubase 11 (where I didn’t have this issue), and now I don’t know if I used to have other settings configured, which might be causing the incorrect export.
