Cubase Extensions - No Wavelab Installation Found - Cubase can't see new version

Hey,

I installed Wavelab 12 Trial on my Mac some time ago. Yesterday, I bought Wavelab Elements 12 and uninstalled the trial version.
Now, Cubase (Pro 14) in Extensions sees only the trial version and says it’s not installed.
I reinstalled Wavelab Elements again. I removed all files related to the Wavelab trial wherever I could (I may have missed some). I have renamed the Preferences folder so that Cubase could start with new preferences. Nada, nothing.

I can’t get Cubase to see Wavelab Elements 12 as an Extension, no matter what I do. After 2 hours of searching for files everywhere, opening Cubase to see if it’s fixed 100 times… I’m done. I’m really tired… Why can’t Cubase have settings where a user could point to the right location?

Is there a way to point Cubase to the right version of Wavelab? Without reinstalling the entire OS?

The ARA functionality is in Wavelab Pro not Elements.

Ahh… awesome :grinning: If the integration with the trial version would disappear after I uninstalled it, I would realize that the issue is not related to the trial version. Instead, I was searching for a way to get rid of the trial from the Extensions list.

Thanks. At least I can stop fighting with it.

I think you can still use the edit in wavelab function to get some level of integration…but yeah, won’t appear as an extension.

To be honest, I don’t need it that much in Cubase. I just like when everything works properly on my computer (almost like an obsession) :grinning: Now I know that it’s fine, besides that Wavelab is still in the Extensions list, but I’ll simply ignore it.
