Whenever I delete a track or remove something in Cubase, sometimes the actual audio files associated with it get completely deleted from my hard drive. I’ve searched various platforms for a solution, but I haven’t been able to find an answer yet. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?
What do you mean with “remove something”? How do you perform that action?
When you delete a track (e.g. audio) that will remain in the pool until you decide to remove the unused files which will go to the bin until you empty and again it will prompt to erase.
Also what do you mean with “actual audio files associated with it”?
Sorry for the late response, if you delete a track from the cubase, the file will be deleted all of a sudden
This is the procedure:
“right-click the track header and choose “Remove Selected Tracks” from the Project menu to remove it and its associated data; be sure to empty the media pool’s trash afterward to reclaim disk space for unused audio files. “
I’ll give it a try. Thank you for your answer
