Cubase File Sizes

Hi Everyone,

I’ve recently noticed that my session file sizes seem to be quite large and I’m wondering if its just me or if anyone else has this. My session files are 90MB’s and with 10+ backups that hits a GB just from Cubase files. I’m not super concerned about this, just kinda curious. FYI my session has a couple audio files and 250+ midi tracks, lots of VEP returns, and almost no plugins.

Do you use NI Kontakt or some libraries for Kontakt in the project?

Yes, the template has three Kontakt 5 instances loaded by default.

As far as I know, Kontakt saves the used samples into the project somehow. So this is probably, why.
