Cubase 11 on my iMac Pro (Catalina) keeps freezing for a few seconds then recovering. Audio playback isn’t affected while this happens but the GUI is stuck and it doesn’t respond to any clicks or keyboard input.
Anyone else got this?
Perhaps switch off auto-save?
That freeze seems to have been much improved with the latest update. As for turning off auto-save, what kind of foolhardy risk taker are you? Madness!
rely on a stable installation, explicit saving - and GIT for project history.
do not rely on so called “auto save” (always missing things really), or “project backup”
