I’ve never had any trouble with hanging on crash on previous versions of Cubase but recently started suffering from it. I suspect it is something to do with my latest project but I found an interesting solution that works for me on this thread:
Disabling the Hub seems to actually fix the problem. No idea what the connection is and I suspect it is masking the problem but I can’t argue with the results!
