Cubase 8.5.15 hangs while loading at mediabay initializing. It’s on a Windows10 system. It was a working system, and this just started one day. System reboot, reinstallation, delete mediabay database, delete preferences doesn’t help.

I just had a very similar thing.
When I launched cubase it got stuck on initialising the mediabay.i disconnected my external hard drive, rebooted and now cubase is working fine.
May not be relevant to you, but thought I’d share just in case.
