Cubase has turned sour on me

Going from super stable, noproblem at all, on mac 10.11.5 cubase 8.5.2 to frequent crashes on closing, quitting, some crashes while using variaudio, now also getting audio dropouts and CPU overloads, I got to wonder whats going on. (on 10.11.6)

I did install the 9 trial, have since then deleted it, updated to 8.5.3 and after that, the problems started. I tried deleting aLOT of plugins, reset the prefs, downgraded to 8.5.2 (used to be super stable). I dont think I have installed/updated any plugs that can cause this, but I have updated to the recommended security patches from apple.

I have long crash reports but I cant read them myself. Is there somewhere in the report that could explain what causing the crashes for non programmers like me?

I found this: is this something?

I use mostly waves and latley also amplitude a lot, but these have not been causing any trouble before. The projects I am working on are both 16, 24 bits, and include aiff, and wave at the same time, not optimal, but didnt cause any problems until now. And i am working mostly with audio 50 - 70 tracks + 3-4 vstis.

My setup is mac pro mid 2012, saffire pro40, cubase 8.5.2
