Cubase - I can't take the bugs any more!

I’ve been a loyal Steinberg customer since Wavelab in the 1990s. Alas, I’m at the end of my rope with the product.

Now I have one computer - a Dell Workstation - Win10 - that suddenly has sound issues ONLY with Cubase Pro 11 and Wavelab Elements 10 - The sound is distorted through Roland Octacapture units that have worked for YEARS with numerous computers that makes that machine unusable now.

And another computer - also Win10 - that experiences frequent audio dropouts - playing AND recording (RUINING TODAY’S SESSION!) with Octacapture and a new Zoom L8. Also Cubase 11 Pro.

AM I THE ONLY PERSON EXPERIENCING THESE PROBLEMS? IF NOT, WHY CAN’T I FIND A CLUE HERE ABOUT HOW TO END THEM?

Well, I suppose you could start by providing some actual details. Without specifics, people would be only guessing.

Test your system by using LatencyMon utility, please.

Myself, I would avoid Zoom driver, which is very poor and even generic ASIO4ALL works much better in several cases.
