Cubase iC Pro: 3 questions (live sound, android, cubase9)

Hello folks.

I´d like to get in the remote control wagon. BUT, I don´t own any apple devices (nor do I want to).
So, Cubasis users, I have 3 questions:

  1. Why did Steinberg discontinue Cubase iC for Android? Is there a hope for it to be revived in the future?

I could can get a lent iPad to try Cubasis Pro and make a decision. So:

  1. Would you use iC Pro for live sound reinforcement/ FOH remote control? I´d like to be able to stand up and walk around the venue and modify the mix levels
  2. When will it be Cubase 9 compatible?
