Hello everyone,

I’m considering purchasing Cubase iC Pro to control Cubase 15 on Windows 11, but I’d like to confirm something before buying it.

My phone is a **POCO X7 Pro running HyperOS**. I’ve been testing Avid Control, but it disconnects from EuControl almost immediately whenever I switch to another app or turn off the screen. I’ve already tried unrestricted battery usage, background autostart, app locking in Recent Apps, and the relevant background activity settings, without success.

**My questions are:**

1. Does Cubase iC Pro remain connected to Cubase when I switch to another Android app?

2. Does it remain connected when the phone screen is turned off?

3. Has anyone tested it specifically on a POCO X7 Pro or another Xiaomi/POCO phone running HyperOS?

I mainly need reliable remote control of Cubase’s transport, recording, playback, stop, and markers.

I’d particularly appreciate feedback from someone who has tested this in practice, or from a developer who can clarify how the app behaves in the background.

Thank you!
