Cubase Inserts. How to use them.

I’ve been going through the list of cubase inserts such as DaTube, Butcrucsher and many others. I can not find anything anywhere as to what they are, what they do and how to use them. Go to the Cubase user manual and DaTube is not even listed in the table of contents. I’ve tried Googling and YouTube with little or no success. Am I missing something? It would be nice to have information on everything in cubase. I know Greg does many wonderful tutorials via Club Cubase, but I think we need more. Can anyone make any suggestions?

The Cubase 6 tutorials have all the basics and additional information in Cubase 7 and Cubase 7.5

For information on Cubase 8 there are 20 or so videos on the Steinberg YouTube site.
