Cubase LE 8 übersteuert, andere software nicht

Hallo zusammen,

das hier ist mein erster Post, daher bitte Rücksicht nehmen, wenn ich unter General falsch gepostet haben sollte.

Mein Problem ist folgendes:
Wenn ich ein Signal, welches zuvor vernünftig gepegelt wurde, in Cubase rekorde, ist dieses sehr verzerrt. Mache ich das Gleiche in z.B. Audacity, klingt alles ganz normal…es handelt sich also um ein software Problem.

Mein Workflow:
Mic via XLR in Alesis Multimix 8 → Signal via USW in Cubase. Ich nutze Windows 7, den Eingangspegel von Mikro habe ich auf 20% gestellt, hat nichts gebraucht.

Für Hilfe, wie ich das Problem in CUbase lösen kann, wäre ich sehr dankbar!

1st of all, this is an English forum. :wink:

Can you see the distortion in the signal? Can you hear it after the Export Audio Mixdown? If not, this is not a signal problem. Increase the latency (or Buffer Size) of your Audio Device in Devices > Device Setup > Your ASIO Driver > click to Control Panel.
