I bought my wonderful Yamaha MG10XU USB Mixer last year, and decided I will install this supposedly wonderful software. 
I went to the Steinberg website. Created username and password. Entered the Download Access Code on ht e MG-XU card given to me. 
We downloaded the Steinberg Downloaded Assistant…went in…downloaded my particular software…CUBASE AI. There was also an updated file. 
We downloaded the two files…tried to install the main Cubase LE AI Elements 9.5, will all the add-ons. (Acoustic Agent, MIDI LOOP Library, etc.) 
ALL OF A SUDDEN!!! 
PROMPT BOX:
“Upload Manager Installation Failed.
The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance. Error Code: 1601” 
I checked my Windows 10. It just told me I have the latest update!! 
So…I…uh… 
…Don’t know what to do!!!
