Oh I just meant since I asked way above so I naturally assumed there was something they needed to know and that’s why I was passed over. But after two weeks I’m not gonna babysit this thread anymore.

Hello @Matthias_Quellmann , I have a CD with Cubase LE 5 that I got when I bought a Alesis interface about 10 years ago. I was using this version of Cubase on my old laptop to but now I have to start using a new one, on windows 11.
I understand that It is possible for me to update this version of cubase to a new one with the same license I have from 10 years ago, Could you please assist me or give me any advice or direction on how to do this? Thank you in advance, Catalina.

if you still know the email adress that is associated with your account just go through the “Forgot my password” process and you are good to go.

Ah, okay, your email passwort got lost as well. In that case you should ask Steinberg support if there’s a possible solution to your dilemma. Depending on your location, I would try to reach telephone support.

I don’t see how they can help if you don’t have access to your original account email. But the advice to call support would be a quick way to make sure.
