Cubase LE & Elicenser

Hello.

I have the Cubase LE AI Elements 9.5 in my PC as part of my purchase of the audient id14 soundcard.
I recently bought a laptop and I want to install and use the software in that device as well.
I guessed that I cannot just install the software in many devices so I asked the audient support center. They told me I have to buy a usb elicenser.
Is this true? Is there a guide on how to install the software in a second device and use the elicenser?

Hi and welcome,

You can either stay with Soft-eLicenser, then you have to Reactivate your license to a new system. So you can use it on one system only. Or if you want to use it on multiple system, you have to buy a USB-eLicenser and transfer the license to it. Then Cubase will start on the computer where do you plug your USB-eLinceser in (and of course Cubase is installed).

So yes, this is true.
