Cubase LE6 / Shortcuts does not work anymore ?

HI - how do I “enable” my PC’s keyboard/shortcuts in Cubase LE 6 ?
After I upgraded my Windows 8, I can’t get the commands/shortcuts to work.
(like: ctrl+Z, ctrl+S etc)
