Try this if you use Windows (download MMCSS tool)

Windows itself has some limitation on the number of midi devices.
Check for hidden midi devices and delete them.
Have no idea on the limitations in a mac,

Just out of curiosity: What does one do with 95 MIDI ports? I mean…this is a darn whole lot!
