Cubase Midi Export: Why are empty midi tracks exported as well?

Hi Guys,

Currently trying to figure out how and why the Cubase Midi export works the way it does, but when soloing desired midi tracks (and also selecting the events) Cubase also exports a bunch of unrelated empty midi tracks along with the file.

The ones that have been solo’d and selected have data, everything else does not.

Is there a way to export a selection of midi from a given project without the additional, empty midi tracks?

Cubase always exports all tasks from the project. It’s specified like this.
