For real. Python would be nice. It would save so much time and eliminate so much hassle. NLEs have it. Why not DAWs?

Reaper has always had a lot of users scripting due to their action based system, too. So it is in the DAW world, for sure.
Cubase has the logical editors which I know a lot of people are fond of, is there a demand for something more? - I really don’t know. Steinberg certainly seem more open to end users having more customisation and scripting options as demonstrated with the MIDI Remote in C12.
