Hi All,
Apparently I’m on the struggle bus with Cubase, as this transition from Studio Pro hasn’t been smooth.
Previously I could hear my VST tracks without issue. Now, they aren’t sounding. I’ve tried multiple VSTs and verified the MIDI connection is working. Pictures of the Audio and Studio Setup below.
I did have to force quit Cubase once after everything had froze. Not sure if that had any effect.
Hi,
Do you hear an output of Audio tracks? If you just drag and drop an audio from MediaBay and play it back, can you hear that?
Yes I do. I’ve loaded the same VSTs in a different and don’t have any issues.
Hi,
I wasn’t asking for VSTs. I was asking for Audio tracks.
Sorry, I didn’t get this.
Yes, I can hear audio from the MediaBay and recorded vocals.
Hi,
In this case, I would try to increase the Buffer Size.
Can you see the meters on the Instrument Track? Is the patch (sounded) loaded within the Instrument? Did you install the libraries (properly)? Do you have some MIDI data in the track? Have you tried to click on the virtual keyboard of the instruments?
Hi,
I don’t see meters on the instrument track, but when loaded I can see the keys of my MIDI keyboard interacting with it. I believe I installed everything correctly, this was working fine until a few days ago. When I load the same libraries in another DAW they work. The virtual keyboard does not produce any sound.
Found the solution…the volume within the specific library was set to 0…Now it appears the default volume of all my libraries are set to 0? Any reason why that would be?
