Cubase/Nuendo don't recognize pool files (.npl) even though it is automatically associated with it

In case you have no .npl files available

  1. File > New Library
  2. Pick a folder
  3. Open Pool
  4. Right click Audio Folder, create Folder.
  5. Close window
  6. Save as Library.npl

When you have your .npl file
7. Double click .npl file
8. Associate with Cubase if it isn’t
→ Error: Invalid project file “Library.npl”

Workaround: Use File > Open Library…
