Cubase on Mac-Mini + Edirol FA101

I’m searching advise for a specific hardware combination:
I’m planning to run Cubase (no matter what release) on a Mac-Mini (i7, 2014) with a Edirol FA101. Why: The MacMini is one of the very few PCs that have a Firewire connection, which is needed for the Edirol.

My Questions:

  1. Has anybody experience, if this combination will work?
  2. Is it better to use OS or WIN 10 with bootcamp?
  3. Will the EdirolFA101 drivers work on a Mac?
