I think many of you have done following:
- Select VSTi instrument, go through patches and play some ideas with those patches.
- Write down notes on each patch on paper and also write some of best musical ideas on sheet paper, so you can go back to those ideas when you are through browsing patches.
Any suggestions on how I could capture those ideas easily without setting up own VSTi+Midi track for each patch+sequence combination I want to store?
I was myself thinking something like ability to force storing / sending VSTi settings in start of record button when starting new record session, so that clips would know what patches and patch settings should go with them. Is there a way to do this directly?
