Cubase 'POS' Error message - help!

I’ve tried to launch Cubase LE AI Elements 9, which I’d installed from a Steinberg download offer after purchasing a Zoom H4NPro a while back, and I get a little popup window with an ‘eLicenser POS Error Message’, saying: “An error has been signaled by the Protected Object Server: File SYNSOACC.DLL could not be located in the Windows system folders.”
I have absolutely no clue what this means, or what to do about it! Can anyone help?
