Cubase pro 10.5 Video export

Hi to the forum,

I want to know more about the video export, and I have Cubase 5 and I’m thinking of upgrading.

After just watching a video, it appears you can import a video into Cubase 10.5, add audio to it in Cubase, and export it. Is this correct?

Also, is the audio that is exported from the video retain that same great quality that is in the audio file that you may have produced with vst instruments in Cubase before you mix it with the video?

thanks,

Steve

Hi,

Correct. You can export both. The mixed audio (the audio source from the video + your own sound) and the video too.

Export of the Audio part of the video is using the very same engine, Cubase is using for the common Audio Export. So the quality is exactly the same as common Audio export.

Maybe you should consider to download Cubase 10.5 Trial.

Hello Martin,

thank you for your reply. Yes, good Idea, I will download and try out the trial version.

best regards,

Steve

Has anyone had a problem exporting video and having a green block at the bottom? I think it’s because my film is widescreen but it’s exporting as a 1920x1080., so it’s just filling it in with green at the bottom of the video. Black would be fine, I’m not picky, it’s just for the director to watch my rough drafts. I can’t see any way of changing the export settings. Help please?
