Cubase Pro 11: Error message loading HALion Symphonic Orchestra Factory Presets 01

I own both Cubase Pro 11 and Dorico Pro 4, the latter including the HALion Symphonic Orchestra license, as stated in its product description (HSO shows correctly in the Steinberg Library Manager).

As I start Cubase Pro 11, the following dialog message pops up:

If I start Dorico Pro 4, no dialog messages are triggered, hence I assume a proper license for HSO is available.

Is there any fix for this nagging problem?

Hi and welcome to the forum,

If I’m not mistaken, this is a known issue. The problem is, Dorico (and HSO with it) is using the new licensing system. But Cubase 11 is not ready for this new licensing system, therefore Cubase doesn’t recognise the license.

The only way is to click OK (every time). I know, it’s annoying, sorry for that.

You can load the library within HALion Sonic SE in Cubase.
