Every time I buy new or reboot windows cubase never sees Kontakt it takes me weeks to get it going and I never know what i did to get it working but it sure makes a mess of my file system.
any Ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I’m new to the forums here, but I frequently reinstall both Cubase and Native Instruments software.
Did you add the plugin locations from within Cubase?
By default, Cubase doesn’t know where to find the plugins for Native Instruments software.
If you didn’t change their default locations:
32-bit plug-in version: C: > Program Files > Native Instruments > VSTPlugins 32 bit
64-bit plug-in version: C: > Program Files > Native Instruments > VSTPlugins 64 bit
Then go into Cubase and find Studio > VST Plugin Manager and add these.
That should get you on the right path.
