Cubase Pro 12 This application was terminated with an error on each shutdown?

FWIW, my early experience with Cubase Pro 12.0.30 in this respect:

I have not had an actual hang on shutdown yet (but only had one less-than-2-hour session to close thus far (and my current project had not been hanging on shutdown the last few days anyway, despite extended sessions), so it is too early to say if that has gone away for good on my system.

HOWEVER, I have already had the (seemingly related) issue I was having with Cubase 12.0.0, where Cubase did not (at least visibly or in terms of still being in Task Manager) hang on shutdown, but Cubase reported it had hung in the previous section in the next startup. I’ve related what I know about it at this point in the Cubase 12.0.30 thread at:

It’s too early for me to make any definitive ruling if the actual hang on shutdown problem, which I was seeing most (but not all) of the time in 12.0.10 and 12.0.20, has gone away on my system. In this case, a plugin (Guitar Rig 6, which is fully up-to-date on my system) was referenced in the call stack, but not as the topmost entry. (My most recent hangs in 12.0.20, including those in the same project, did not reference plugins in the call stack at all.)
