Cubase Pro 12 Upgrade to Pro 13

HI,

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this question, I couldn’t find other forum to put out.

I have Cubase Pro 12, is there still possible to upgrade to Pro 13, and how? It seems online (Steinburg site) upgrade only can up to Pro 14.

You can’t purchase an older version (13) at this point. Even if you were able to, when you entered the download access code it would give you the current version’s license due to Steinberg’s grace period policy.

Why do you want 13 instead of 14? I love 14 compared to 13.

If you puchase C14 you can also use C13 - it is included. However, as @Scab_Pickens already said, you cannot activate C13 without purchasing C14, first.

@Scab_Pickens : The reason I would like to get Pro 13 just because my MacBook Pro is 2017 version, it’s right at edge of Pro 14 tech spec requirement.

@Reco29 : Based on your comment, I can purchase Pro 14, but how could I download Pro 13 program and also how to have Pro 13 activate during the procedure ?

You only need to activate 14 and you can run 12, 13 or 14 on that same license.

Still didn’t fully understand how to get (download) Pro 13 program, I have the Pro 12, but once I purchase the upgrade based on Pro 14, during the downloading, do I have the choose to pick the version number?

Look in your Steinberg download assistant. You have the my products section that will list C12 (and C14 when you update) but you should also have Cubase section with other versions. Download whatever you want.
