After coming back to the PC (Win 10), everything left overnight, Cubase Pro 13.0.30 is stuck at full DSP load at idle. Restarting Cubase did not fix it.

Hi,
Have you tried to restart the computer, please?
I did. It went down to about 50%. I think I only use VST3 FX and instruments. Shouldn’t they all go into idle mode if Cubase isn’t playing for a while?
Any way to see what plugin may cause the high load?
This is something Cubase should add. Bitwig + Presonus Studio One has this.
You can potentially try the same test in Bitwig or Studio One. And see if you can find the offending plugins, unless it’s specific to a Cubase issue.
Is there a developer mode in Cubase that can give access to DSP use per plugin?
I do not have the other DAWs to test. Maybe I can try to deactivate or remove plugins… Tedious though…
