I am experiencing a consistent crash when I try to hide a track by clicking the track in the visibility section on the left hand side. The latest change to my system is that I updated to Mac OS 15.3.2. Haven’t had this issue ever before.
Hi,
thanks for the quick response. For some reason, there are no crash or log files appearing in the console utility after the crash, under crash, log or diagnostic reports.
After experimenting a few times, I find a pattern. When I have the built-in audio device selected, there is no problem: I can hide/unhide tracks - but when I select my audio interface (which is an aggregate device of two devices) clicking anywhere in the visibility zone on the left causes Cubase to disappear/crash.
Yes, Cubase just closes. I still need to verify, but it may be that this happens with a particular project. In general, until now the aggregate device has worked perfectly.
Should I not find somewhere in Mac OS evidence that this kind of crash has happened?
According to further testing, it seems that this issue comes whenever I have an aggregate audio device active. My other “open/close editor” issue where the keycommand [Return] is not working when trying to close an editor window in the lower zone, seems to be linket to using an aggregate device as well (Cubase Pro 14.0.20: open/close editor with [Return] command not closing editor).
