Cubase Pro 15 - issues in creating .tpl files

You can double check by going to this folder in the File Explorer: C:\Users.
Make sure you have “Show hidden files and folders” enabled.

That’s what I did! Thank you anyway

The filename in the error actually is different from the file’s name you’re trying to open or save. See The lowercase ‘t’

The Mediabay database component is case sensitive, afaik.

So that file really doesn’t exist.

I presume that means that you successfully opened the file you actually wanted? If so, the error is saying that there’s an entry in the Mediabay database that doesn’t have a corresponding file in the file system.

Wow, @steve you are better than Sherlock Holmes :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:- I didn’t realize this minor but eminent error. Following a screenshot with all infos:

And yes, once i try to open the folder or looking for the file, cubsase opens the correct file which is presented as well in MS Filexplorer.

However, what can I do to correct this in the Mediabay? Where and how can I tell Cubase that this is the correct one?

I’m not clear on precisely when you see the error dialog. Is it when you try to open the file from the hub or when?

Here are a couple suggestions:

Screenrecording for Error creation

I added a link from a screen recording reproducing the error. So you see exactly what happens and when.

I followed your instructions and rescaned the user content via Mediabay. I launched the search with the “wrong” path and it gave no results.

When I try to open again the template and searching it via the relevant folder, I get the following:

The system proposes to me the correct file with the uppercase letter. Once I click on it I get the correct template loaded. I don’t know where in Cubase I could find and delete this lower case and wrong file path.

Neither do I with the info given… the video is quite low in resolution, and I can’t make out the text.

This is getting beyond something I can help with as a user, maybe support can help or another user will chime in.
