Are you on mac or pc? Mouse scroll wheel or track pad?

I can only speak for my setup, mac + magic trackpad. If I hover the mouse cursor in a certain area above or below the fader, but not over the faders, I can scroll horizontally. But it’s quite a specific zone and I discovered it on accident one day lol. They could definitely find a way to make it work everywhere or at least make the behavior more clear to the user.

Yep that works.. Thanks

For 16 I have many requests but the main one is a fix : please fix ARA bug concerning project offset in bars (and others units) not being transmitted to ARA.
Effect is that Spectralayer, Melodyne, etc. , in their measure bars, are no more synched with project bars. This is very annoying.

Im Both on mac and windows but I use a normal scrollwheel from my Kensington. It’s not possible

I’m not sure, it could be a traditional scrollwheel that isn’t supported. I’ve only tested with trackpad and magic mouse.

I wish for a function, that will automatically merge a new MIDI part with any underlying MIDI part AND combine the recording to one new MIDI part. This works in Logic and it will save me endless selecting MIDI parts and press Command+j.

It depends on the Setting / Preference “change parameters via mousewheel”. If you select Disable or Disable in Scrollable Areas then horizontal scrolling in the console works… when the mouse cursor is in the lower area (where the fader is; the upper area is where you have inserts and sends and so on).
It’s not great but it allows horizontal scrolling.

Probably a setting issue.

You need to select Merge at MIdi recording settings at the bottom left of the transport bar

Man, that really made me miss 12!… the change for flat design created such a mess of things, and an amateurish look!…

Please add an option in Preferences to adjust the Trackpad Pinch-to-Zoom speed and sensitivity on macOS, as the current fixed zoom speed when using Apple’s Trackpad feels way too slow and sluggish when navigating through projects. A dedicated slider under Preferences > User Interface (or Editing) to speed up pinch-to-zoom responsiveness would drastically improve workflow efficiency for Trackpad users.

The whole program will go flat, before it ever becomes anything else.
