Cubase Pro 8.5 - over Cubase 8 install ?

Just downloaded CP 8.5 Update and wondered if best option to simply install over CP 8 (latest update) or… wipe it completely, lose the settings and midi instruments and so on, … (hope not…) ?

I’m on Mac OSX 10.8.5 on one machine and 10.11.3 on the Macbook Pro. (Have external midi with definitions entered in Cubase).

Just install it, it will be stored in a seperate folder and will leave v8 as a useable program on your disk. Also the settings will be copied in a new folder. You can uninstall v8 later if everything in v8.5 runs great.
