Cubase Version PRO 9.0.40 64 bit built on feb 2 2018
OS MacOs 10.14.5
Computer iMac 5k 27 inch late 2014, 32gb ram, i7 4GHz

When starting cubase it scans for plugin and each plugin check / activation can take even a minute. during hte process the computer is frozen and hte start process can take 20-30 minutes.
update latest version available to me of cubase 9

Also tried reinstalling cubase 9.

Seems to be a hard to grasp concept for many Mac users, but Start by using an OS that is supported by your Cubase version, or by using a Cubase version that is compatible for your OS.
