If a user has a Cubase Pro license, could the user install and use one of the lesser versions such as Elements, Artist or even Sequel? Would the Pro license grant usage of the lesser products?
Sure. But, why?
Artist and Pro are the same executable file and thus if you have a Pro license it will only launch as Pro (unless you have dealer’s license which allows you to select which version is launched) Elements is a separate installation and you can run this with the Pro license.
Sequel is a different product line, pretty sure that it can’t be run with a Cubase license.
