Hi,
I´ve been trying to get Cubase on PC to sync properly with Pro Tools HD 11 on a mac pro for days.
Hopefully someone here is able to help.
The machines are connected via a 1Gb ethernet switch(also tried direct connection).
Cubase is set up using internal timecode. Sync says offline, MC master Active sending MMC Output to PT.
Midi Timecode and Midi Clock Out is also sent to PT.
I can see the midi over lanCP is sending and receiving. Using MusicLab MolCp3. Seems to work properly.
PT is setup with MTC reading in peripherals and Midi Machine control Remote(slave) enabled.
It is online “waiting for sync”.
PT starts playing when I hit play in Cubase. But Cubase is not playing. It just sits there doing nothing.
When I hit stop, PT jumps back to start and just starts over playing again.
Scrolling works fine between the two.
I´m hoping there is something I´ve missed but I´m getting slightly concerned this is a bug?
I get the same results in cubase 7.5.0, 7.5.3 and 6.5.
Anyone else experiencing this? Any help on this topic would be much appreciated.
