Cubase Quit Unexpectedly

Hi
I am running a Mac OSX 10.7.4 and Cubase 6 (the most up to date)
Each time I shut down cubase I get an error message ‘Cubase Quit Unexpectedly’ but in fact it didn’t because I shut it down! This has only happened in the last few days - any thoughts on what’s going on and whether it might cause problems…?

Did you install anything new the past days, including software that is not DAW related?
Is this also happening when you open a new project, and inmediately close it?
