I had dragged a bunch of samples graded to HALion , as I hit the Ok

thank you for providing your crashlog. The analysis shows that the crash happend when deleting undo entries and could actually be caused by actions, that happend a couple of steps before.
So this one is only conditionally useful.

to me its linked to moving sample and Layer around in the right hand window , that were most of my crashes happen . even in the stand alone version

Thats great , I am working on more custom sounds so will keep this updated incase I have any other crashes.

incase this is helpful , I opened HALion7 standalone dragged in a patch, added one layer, tried to drag other layers into this layer and immediately quit
So to be clear, I hadn’t done any other work before this quit other than the steps above.
