Cubase sample based instruments sample library intallation.

When installing Cubase it appears that samples for Steinberg sample based plugins are installed to the “C” drive; i.e., C:\Users%username%\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Content\VST Sound. This is clearly not “best practice” for installing sample libraries, however, there doesn’t appear to be any other option.

Any insight?

Move the “vstsound” files to a location of your choosing, then create shortcuts to the files in the original folder
