Cubase sampler track hold sample position on key release

Hi everyone.
Is it possible to have a sample in the sampler track and when i hit a note it starts playing but when i release the key the play position stays where it was left so that when i hit another note it starts from the last play position ?

I was trying using Padshop but seems like is not possible too, i guess. I´m still exploring some possibilities with Padshop s2 I thought the Trigger mode set to resume would accomplish this but is. a no too, ehheh,.

Hi,

Padshop is something totally different. It is accessing very short parts of the sample in a random (with kind of controlled) way.

I find it interesting. But unfortunately from top of my head, I don’t know about any sampler, which could do this. I would focus to the “big” samplers like HALion or NI Kontakt.

I have Halion 6 and i am right now trying to make this happen but i couldn’t yet! Any tips ?
