Cubase score editor: Some notes mistakenly notated as 'rests'

Some notes are mistakenly notated as ‘rests.’ See pictures below.

How to fix this?

You can try adding a Display Quantize just before that position to set a fixed 16th notes setting possibly?

At first glance, it appears the display quantize algorithm attempts to create a triplet, and then an internal state goes wrong, hiding the notes. If you could share an excerpt of the project, we could have a closer look.

Bars 31, 49, and others are the ones displaying rests instead of notes (low floor tom). I tried adding Display Quantize (set to 16th note triplets) before the position, but it’s still displaying rests (see gif/video). Also, it kind of ruined the timing/notation of all other notes following it…

I’ve also uploaded an excerpt of the project. Let me know what you find! thx so much

Thanks for isolating this case. I’ve found the source of the bug but I’m not sure of the fix yet. It occurs if you have a bar with notes that are routed to the same voice on the kit but when you have tuplets in only instrument. Unfortunately there isn’t a workaround for this at the moment.

thx Paul for the update. keep us posted!
