Hi there,

Cubase shows Wrong Space when clicking on a pattern

  1. Make sure song follow ( “ F “ ) is on
  2. Create a pattern midway in your song
  3. Press play
  4. Click on your pattern
  5. See how cubase roams thru empty space with nothing to show
  6. Repeat same steps in any other DAW
  7. Realize how nice it is to see what you click on

I mean why would i click on a clip just to see empty edges or empty space of cubase following the song?

In Cubase the view is 9 times out of 10 out of place and user has to mousewheel to where all other DAWs take you automatically

  • there is no need to see any other area than what is in the clip ( unless you really want to extend the edges, then the view should jump )

This makes cubase look and feel very uncomfortable for anyone who is used to proper workflow

This is what I expect from the “Song follow” enabled. This is auto off when you start to edit.
